When you give us a property address, our system immediately goes to work validating the address against numerous data fields, searching for an exact match. CoreLogic runs all provided addresses through our advanced parcel-based geocoder, PxPoint™. PxPoint was developed by the team of computer scientists and geographers who revolutionized the industry with the first national address geocoder. As a high-precision, fourth generation geocoding and spatial analytics engine, which utilizes the largest available database of U.S. parcel boundaries and advanced matching algorithms, PxPoint delivers accurate matches for properties across the United States. Accurate matches mean lower validation costs and fewer manuals determinations.
Once located, we will assign all relevant geographic information (address, updated address, latitude and, longitude) and a confidence level for each address along with any supplemental data that the customer chooses to add, including:
